Refund Policy

REFUND & RETURN POLICY

At Okamura Kankitsu Farm, we take great pride in producing and shipping high-quality Japanese citrus and citrus products. Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final.

ALL SALES FINAL

All purchases of fresh fruit, processed fruit products, fruit by-products, preserves, juices, dried fruit, and other food-related products are considered final upon purchase.

We do not accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, or provide refunds for any food products once an order has been placed and processed.

PERISHABLE PRODUCTS

Because our products are food items and may be affected by handling, storage conditions, weather, transit times, customs inspections, and other factors beyond our control, products cannot be returned after delivery.

SHIPPING DELAYS

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Natural disasters

  • Carrier disruptions

  • Customs inspections

  • Government actions

  • Transportation interruptions

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Shipping delays do not qualify for refunds, returns, replacements, or order cancellations.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping information

  • Ensuring someone is available to receive the package when necessary

  • Properly storing products immediately upon receipt

  • Reviewing any import restrictions applicable to their country or region

We are not responsible for spoilage, quality deterioration, or damage resulting from improper handling, storage, or delayed retrieval after delivery.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Import permits

  • Customs clearance

  • Duties and taxes

  • Import restrictions

  • Agricultural inspections

Orders refused, seized, delayed, destroyed, or rejected by customs or government agencies are not eligible for refunds, replacements, or credits.

LIMITED EXCEPTION

If a customer receives:

  • The wrong product; or

  • A product that is substantially damaged during transit,

the customer must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Order number

  • Photographs of the product

  • Photographs of the packaging

  • Any relevant shipping documentation

Any remedy, including replacement, store credit, partial refund, or no action, shall be determined solely at our discretion after review of the submitted information.

NO GUARANTEE OF TASTE OR PERSONAL PREFERENCE

Agricultural products naturally vary in:

  • Appearance

  • Size

  • Color

  • Shape

  • Sweetness

  • Acidity

  • Texture

  • Seed content

These natural variations are normal and do not constitute defects. Personal taste preferences or dissatisfaction with naturally occurring characteristics are not grounds for refunds, replacements, or returns.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders cannot be canceled once processing, harvesting, packing, or shipment preparation has begun.

CHARGEBACKS

Customers agree to contact us first to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Filing a chargeback for products delivered as ordered, or for reasons expressly addressed in this policy, may result in suspension of future purchasing privileges and submission of supporting documentation to the payment processor.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any claim relating to an order shall be limited to the purchase price actually paid for the affected product.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, spoilage, emotional distress, travel costs, or other expenses arising from the purchase, shipment, delivery, or use of our products.

POLICY ACCEPTANCE

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Return Policy.
